Representing the Valencian Community in Lisbon
This edition was especially meaningful for us because we travelled as part of the official delegation of the Valencian Community.
As BRANDLEX, a LegalTech startup born in Chile and now based in the Valencian Community, it was a real honour to:
- Explain how we are connecting copyright, data and generative AI to create new legal solutions.
- Share space with other Valencian startups and scaleups innovating in cybersecurity, fintech, health, climate and many other sectors.
- Show why Valencia is becoming one of the most dynamic innovation hubs in Southern Europe.
What we shared from BRANDLEX
At Web Summit we had the chance to share our vision of the future of AI applied to the legal world. We believe the next wave of innovation will rely on:
- Legally robust, properly licensed datasets to train AI models.
- Clear copyright and licensing frameworks that protect creators and rightsholders.
- Tools that help companies and organisations navigate regulation, risk and compliance around AI.
That is exactly where BRANDLEX is focusing its efforts: building solutions at the intersection of intellectual property, data and generative AI, so that companies can innovate faster – but in a safe, transparent and regulation-aligned way.
Key learnings we bring back from Web Summit 2025
Between talks, meetings and spontaneous conversations, we return with several key ideas:
- AI is no longer just a buzzword: it is becoming the foundational layer of many products and services.
- Legal, compliance and cybersecurity issues have become strategic, not just “back office”.
- There is growing demand for responsible, explainable and fair AI, especially in regulated sectors.
- Collaboration between startups, public institutions and large companies is essential to build trustworthy innovation.
All of this reinforces our conviction: there is a huge opportunity for LegalTech solutions that combine advanced technology with deep legal expertise.
